    Rear subframes

    Hi all.
Does anyone have the measurements for the holes that bolt up to the diff carrier on the subframes??
I want to weld tubes into them to get rid of the wear, and because they are so worn, i want to make sure they are right. I have used some second hand reasonable ones on the car at present, but in a muppet moment, i didnt take any measurements before i fitted them!
    Thanks in anticipation

Cheers dave. The mesurement i need is the position of the holes in the subframe, although your info is still handy

as the holes elongate on the subframe would they not drift downwards and inwards? allowing the diff nose to drop slightly. IIRC the lower hole is the worst on each subframe arm.

And by that reasoning is the outer edge (i.e. nearest the sill) of the bottom hole not the original outer edge of the hole before it started elongating?

I would be inclined to use a spare diff nose to ensure all lines up before welding

Hi Dave, If you have access to a lathe, tubes can be made by drilling a piece of round bar to the bolt size you need.
