My hood has some unique features - most notably the duct tape patches, which provide great service if they are changed regularly. It is over-due for replacement but I am no hurry to change..
However, I came home tonight in the dark and cold and tried to put the hood up to park on the road. For some reason the hood wont go beyond about 70-80 degrees towards the B post. It feels like it is floating around the hinge point (if that makes sense).
I thought that it might be down to the drivers side clip not being engadged but that made no difference.
We have a clear night tonight, but I need to find a way to get the hood up before the weather changes and the cover becomes a pond liner rather than something that allows the rain to run off.
Any advice appreciated.
