    Valves

In preparation for getting my heads reconditioned, where's the best place to get some exhaust valves
Is it a good idea to replace the studs or not ?
    Thanks

Most of the main suppliers will source their valves from the same places, though the ones I had from James Paddock were a slightly different shape and gave slightly improved gas flow when tested on my flow bench.

Personally I only replace the studs if they are corroded.

I am using Paddocks Valves no problems up to now. As for the studs, I replaced them for stainless ones from Wards because they have a hex head, and used the original bolts following a good wire brush up.

I sourced original trw valves from a stag stockest that no longer deals but had stock when I was looking.
If memory serves me right it was t & m garages they might be worth a try
