Does anyone think it would be helpful if the profile displayedwhat year/modle Stag people own?

Someone recently posted a problemwith an alternator. If ithadbeen obvious that it was a Mk1 car, we could have advised him to check the alternator control box and not justthe alternator as you would on a Mk2.

Yes - but I've suggested a couple of simple mods in the past (as have other Members) & heard nothing further. I think it depends on how much the Web Designer/Maintenance people charge for making alterations, & how often the Website is reviewed.

Well done Brian, thats a very creativeidea, but may I suggest that after the address we put athe car details in a standard format like:

<Address >; Car Details: Stag Mk1, 1972 3.0 litre standard

or

<Address >; Car Details: Stag Mk1, 1972 3.0 litre plus Holley plus headers

or

<Address>; Car Details: Stag Mk2, 1975 Rover 3.9

etc etc

What do you reckon?

PS: There is a limited amount of characters for this, so have to be abbreviated.

Yes, space is limited. I want to keep my Saintfield Co Down bit up to attract people from this part of the world, so this is the best I could come up with on second attempt.

Here's my profile updated...

... and I have just overtaken IanB in the No. of posts stakes, 650 at the time of writing. I am now in the top 10, just. :P....well until Ian posts again anyway:shock:. Still a long way to catch up with Kryten though. You never know, I might have something useful to say one day!
