    Gear box leaking oil

Can anyone recommend an additive to the gearbox oil to stop or reduce leaks ?
This is only a stopgap , to get me through the next few months before it comes out in the spring.
It functions well, isn't making any nasty noises , but does drop a bit, so just want to be on the safe side til the spring.

Nothing wrong with a slush box

Where is it leaking from I would be very careful if you do put some snake oil in it and make sure it's suitable for O/D use.

if it were me I would keep an eye on the level and invest in kitty litter / drip tray

Where is it leaking from on the gearbox?

Already invested on the drip tray , difficult to see where the leak is , but towards the back of the box / propshaft area judging by where the drips hit the ground, and tray. It's dropping onto the exhaust so after a run there's that lovely burning oil smell outside the car .

I think keep topping up is the best option....net done that before on this car....every days a school day

If it's a small leak it may be the speedo drive. I have to do mine in the spring. I was told a felt washer might need replacing. I hope it's a simple fix for you.

Leaking from the adapter plate between gearbox and overdrive is common, and only a strip down can cure it. If it is the rear tail shaft seal, this is 'doable' in situ.

I've got a slush box in mine and it's leaking from the banjo bolt / washers at the end of the autobus dipstick tube. That also leaks onto the exhaust
