    GWW 126 pump ?

On my 1976 Stag the washer bottle assembly is different from the standard set-up, and I need a new pump. I’ve been told the same pump was used in some Vauxhalls, do any members know where I can buy a ‘GWW 126 pump’(it’s blue) or give me further information.

Many thanks for any help that can be given.

The GWW 125 (as found by 1959terry seems to replace 126) can be had on e-bay from a reputable supplier (MGB Hive) at £7.85 delivered or collect at Argos

Thanks for the quick reply Terry & HersnotHis, but no the GWW 125 won’t fit, with my pump it just pushes into the bottle and doesn’t need a bracket to secure it.

I’ve found one that look’s similar, by searching for pictures of washer pumps on the internet, which might fit. Its described as a universal washer pump, so I am getting somewhere. Surely I can’t be the only one in the world who’s got a non standard washer pump, but it is the original bottle fitted from new

Yeah that’s the one redstag, apart from the plastic bracket, many thanks.

Being Unipart it shouldn’t be to difficult to find one in the UK.
I don’t suppose you have any ideas what other vehicles use the same pump.
Anyway, thanks again really good of you to help me out.

If you've got the original bottle then you can get a new cap and motor from James Paddock or Rimmers (cheaper at JP). Seems a bit easier than tracking down this elusive motor. If you haven't got the original bottle you can get one from JP. I'm sure the other suppliers have them too.

                Rimmers http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID005320

JP http://www.jamespaddock.co.uk/parts....14&vehicleId=1 (scroll down the page for washer bottle parts).

                Hope that helps,

                Ed.
