Glove box light ... Again !

Am I right in assuming the glove box light runs off of the same feed as the courtesy lights ?

Ive just fitted a new bulb but it's still not working - I've not checked the wiring connections yet either but will do

The glovebox light runs off the battery supply (purple wire) the same as the courtesy lights, cigarette lighter and others.

Yes, according to my colour wiring diagram, same feed as Coutesy lights (and clock and cigarette lighter). Fed from the "Battery Control" Fuse at the end of the fusebox. One side of the lamp is +ve (red wire, connecting to magenta/ white wire). The glovebox switch connects the other side of the lamp to earth.

glove box light is a pain ,taken the bulb out of mine ,keeps coming on for 10% of the time ,just can't be a++++d to rehang the glovebox door + I very rarely drive the stag at night .

Thanks for the replies the courtesy lights work so I'll have a better look into it and see how I get on
