It's our 42nd in 2 days time (5th) - so we have been married slightly longer than my Stag has lived.
It's also 3 Kings Eve on the 5th (Canarian equivalent of Xmas Eve) when there will be parades, Kings on camels, and Fireworks.
Nice of the locals to put on a special show for us.
Congratulations indeed.
Interesting to see that long hair was in fashion then as were the bell bottoms trousers. Will these come back into fashion like the Stag? I hope not as my hair line is receding now and it could be a challenge.
Speaking of "Then" and "Now" and Marriage, on another Forum I use there is a "Mug Shots" Category where members post pictures of themselves when they were young, married, and how they look now. I still have all my hair, but it has now changed from black to silver, and I am a little "plumper" than I used to be. Below are 4 photos put together taken through the ages with an explanation under each one. 1st three were all taken in Chorley, Lancashire where I was born and brought up, the last one on board Fred Olsens "Braemar" Cruise Liner.
