Fuel tank mods this weekend to finish off then a POR 15 sealer coating (not cheap but very tough)and I'm just waiting for a plug for my new idle control valve( trying a stepper motor this time)image.jpg

Assume you need an electrical plug, which valve are you using as I may have one.

It's a Delphi 150.2 femail plug, I have just arranged the seller of the valve to send me one John. RS do them but they have a minimum number for the metal connectors which you have to buy seperatly . This is the idle stepper I'm going to try. I'll be well happy if I can get it working as it's super light.image.jpg

I hope it all works well in the end as it is far better engineered than my cobbled together efi set up, but mine does deliver the ponies!

I have to say you guys have really come up with amazing kit, that engine sounds fantastic Steve, I Only wish I Had the time and resources to do the same.

Thanks Neil, I'd like to get the stepper working as in theory it should give a bit more control but I know this idle valve issue seems to be one of MS's tricky bits especially closed loop. I don't for one minute think it will make anything like your power outputs, I'd just be happy to get it running in the car with a bit more than standard, however Ive always got a head full of dreams for future upgrades some of them may be pinched from your findings
