Mine are Uniroyals I think the white band is 17mm wide I run 185/70s which are T rated (118 mph) but Insurance company are happy about.

I got them from here; http://www.northhantstyres.com/ Out of stock at the moment but they have some alternative brands. Including some H rated 195/70s

When I used to run with whitewalls I had mine simply painted on. A colleague of mine had a used car outlet and a guy came around to him, runs the wheel on a roller, decide your width, first scrubs the wall slightly for a key then applied a rubberised paint. No damage to rest of tyre wall. Instant Whitewalls ! They used to hold up quite well to road grime etc. Not sure if similar service about these days.

205's are a bit balooney on the 5.5 Stag rim but ok on a 6" Minilite rim......

I remember Tony H used to have 205/70's on his daily Stag - not the racer though....
