I had the parcel shelf edge missing from my Mk2 too- It took me about 2 months to find a half-decent replacement (the card parcel shelf is easily obtained from the normal suppliers). Your best bet is Ebay; 1 a month normally comes up and you should expect to pay anywhere from £20-40 including shipping. I think I got mine for £25 including shipping. Make sure it has the chrome finishing strip as I saw plenty that didn't.
