SOCTFL Lower rear wing repair panel, or is it?

I mean the one at the extreme corner under the bumper. Just went to order this from one of the main Stag suppliers (they seem in short supply at other suppliers) and it appears to be offered in 2 sizes, one that comes up higher than the other.
Although their photo shows a joggled (stepped) upper edge on both the sizes the supplier said the new, smaller, ones he has do not have the joggled edge but he assured me they were SOCTFL panels and the quoted price is more than other suppliers non SOCTFL items.
Is this correct are newer panels are being pressed without the stepped edge? or would I be buying an inferior item at a higher price
Getting a good fit is much easier with the stepped edge!

Alan. These repair panels are not SOCTFL products. That is not to say that they won't fit properly, but SOCTFL has no control over their quality.

Micky I have a joggler on a hole punch which works well on flat panels but cannot go round a curve like say a 'Rollastep' and I don't do enough panel work to buy one. - Alan

The vendor for Ebay items 231508730607 and 231609961178 is indicated as Robsport. Knowing Robsport's excellent reputation I'd be surprised if they would claim they were produced using SOCTFL tooling if they weren't: at various times over the past twenty years repair panels have been produced from tooling that has been funded by SOCTFL and/or SOC Spares but we haven't got any means of knowing by whom, when, or whether the shape and fit is correct - we've not been directly involved in trial fitting these repair panels to cars. Robsport may be able to tell your more about the provenance of these particular panels if you ask.

I have a manually driven 'rollastep' which you're welcome to borrow if that helps. Not too far away...
