Afternoon all. I have been looking at the wiring diagram (Mark 1) and I've managed to confuse myself. Is the Stag wiper circuit permanent live with switch then completing the earth as on the TR5/6 or is the switch live?

I haven't got any of my documentation to hand but I seem to remember that there is a permanent 12v feed (green wire ?) but also there are two separate 12v feeds from the wiper switch - one for low speed and one for high. I remember checking for a 12v feed on the two terminals when slow or fast was selected when I last had my motor out.
Quite how that all works inside the motor I'm not sure without a ROM to hand.
Good luck.
Cheers

There is a live feed going to the switch for normal operation, and a live feed going straight to the motor to allow for self parking. Both are made live by the ignition switch being in the second position, ie ignition on. If you move the self parking feed to permanent live supply the wipers will return to parking position if you turn off the ignition, if not they will self park only with the ignition on.
