Dash light cluster

I have just soldered 5mm LEDs with resisters in place of the original bulbs. I haven't included the ign warning light as yet but I'll give it a go later, if it does not work I'll stick a bulb back in.

These lamp clusters are very fragile I have now got all my lights to work the oil light was down to a broken wire in the loom the choke just came on by itself after I reconnected the multi plug but I still cant fathom why I had a live at the bulb holder when the wire was broken ?

Because some of the warning lights have a constant live feed and only come on when they are grounded, the choke being one of them.
