Hopefully this should be simple!
I recently got my Stag back from having some bodywork done on it.
Fortunately my wife was driving behind me as I brought the car back home.
She noticed that the brake lights were not coming on.
It's good to find out that way, rather than in a different way on a roundabout etc!
So my questions are:
Do the brake lights normally come on even with no key in the ignition / with ACC and IGN / only with IGN ?
Is the switch at the footbrake an earthing one?
And if the answer to the previous Q is yes - then is there a permanent live fed to the brake light whilst the earth side goes through the pedal switch?
Many thanks for any contributors !
