Hi Jonno.
I had them on my last Stag for 4 years. I'll be fitting them to my new one when I can.
They are just ordinary valves but much neater.
My MOT man bought them for his off road Landies becaust the ordinary ones kept catching on obstacles & causing punctures. 030a.jpgYou can just about make it out.

Thanks for this. Next time I fit new rubber ....! May be a while, though as I fitted new boots all round only 6-months ago.
Thank you for link just ordered some today as my valve has started to leak today on the way back from Lyme Regis stopped off at bridport to inflate only just got me back home to Yeovil.
Interesting. My local independent tyre dealer who has obliged my classic car tyre supply/ fitting requirements for over 15 years was faced early last year with replacements on my newly acquired Daimler V8 (AKA Jag Mk2 but with Turner V8).
He said he could not source replacement valves from immediate suppliers so used existing valves.
What valve specs should my tyre supplier be prewarned to have on hand to replace Stag tyres later this year or early next?

Nothing special. My tyre fitters have been using new, standard, tyre valves on my Stag alloys for years. It is very important to check that there is no corrosion around the hole in which the valve fits. Just as it is important to check that there is no corrosion on the rims where the tyre bead sits.
