Just wanted to know if a member here won the genuine O/S front wing on ebay, and if so do you want to sell it as I have to go collect the N/S front wing and sill I won.
check the return on the wing where it meets the door. I had a new genuine front OS wing fitted and this return was too shallow so the door would catch it, the door stuck out too far when adjusted to miss it. It took some "fettling"

There were 2 originals on sale, I got outbid on the one, finger slipped on mouse just as I was about to increase the bid, but I won the other one .. along with a genuine sill, so still looking for an O/S front wing, just collecting parts for the rebuild .. was hoping the other buyer might be a member here and wants to sell on the one he won ..
I am sure I am going to have a lot of playing around when putting the new panels on, but will keep an eye on the return on the wing, I am sure I read somewhere that the third party panels all have lining up problems too ..
I am months away (probably at least 6 -8) till I get to that stage though .. only just found a small workshop to rent for the rebuild, moving in on the 1st March so will take a few pics and post .. then the stripping down will begin ..
