Front Brakes

I've got a recent but reoccuring problem with the off side front brake holding on.

I resealed the original caliper then replaced it with a reconditioned unit. I have fitted new pads, checked the disk (runout is OK) and bled the system. I still get the same result. Any suggestions?

Mine were seized when i got it ,i replaced the pistons and seals. been fine since,maybe the recon ones you got only had the seals done .

You could try taking the pads out one at a time and carfully pump the pedal to check they are free .

Could be the flexible hose not allowing the fluid to return, check it carefully and replace if in doubt.

i had that aswell although it was blocked in both directions,it's a wonder i ever got it home in one piece:shock:

No probs, think I read that it had happened to someone somewhere else, possibly on the other forum! Hope you fitted stainless braided?!
