Fitted my new old Mark II steering wheel courtesy of Lambrettlad, flipped drag strut bolt to the correct orientation after much good advice on how to do it on my earlier post, and went for a glorious run near Headley.

Drove it to the golf club and back after fitting the hard top. Washed and dried it and put it in the garage where it will stay for a couple of months. I’m having a shoulder op on Tuesday and can’t drive for a few weeks......

Me too, also added some self adhesive foam weather strip around the front edge to try and cut down on wind noise a bit.

Yes, that's on my list of things to investigate. I think it may be difficult because of the design, I notice that all the moderns with removable roofs have the join further back so that there's nothing for the airlow to whistle against. When I collected my hardtop it didn't fit properly so the chap I bought it from put gaffer tape along the front to help seal it. I don't remember if that had any effect along the M4.
Please let us know how you get on!

Had a nice run from upminster to Clive's house to have my 4 speed auto box fitted. Was quicker coming back due to accidents on the M25....but that's to be expected on a MonTuesWedThursFriSatSunday morning.

Has it worked? I am about to get the hard top on and I thought the noise was coming from the gutters on the A frame either side of the windscreen.

Used our Stag to go to the factory yesterday and today.

Got a nice surprise when I got back from playing snooker today, whilst out my car mechanic had brought my Stag back. Needs a good wash, but so nice to see it again as it has been away since August having a few things attended to.

Mainly having the brakes seen to after they failed, and having brought back new rear brake shoes and cylinders after a recent visit to the U.K., then discovered it required a new Brake Master Cylinder as well, so had to wait for Paddocks to post one out to me.

Can't wait to take it for a drive again, but still haven't found some new Alloys for the car here in Tenerife. Will use the Stag to drive round in search of a Motor Factors who has some that I like and that are suitable for the Stag.

PS. Good day all round so far as I won my snooker match 3 games to one.
