SO what did you you do with your Stag today?

Passed its mot yesterday and went out for a run with the top down to Bridgnorth. Pleased to say that the new stagweber fusebox has finally cured what in hindsight was a faulty electrical connection causing intermittent misfire problems that gave me many head scratching moments. Looking forward to the outing over the next few months

Went over to Evesham and met Clive T who is fitting me a nice gearbox. On the way from Shrewsbury last half hour of the journey lost 3rd on the old BW35! 40 mph 3,000 revs but made it, journey back in a few days going to be so much better!
just for info i ran the bw35 at minimum level and although it didnt lose atf it wasn't to many miles before it lost 3rd so keep at max level and carry on cleaning up!

Hi NIGER
OOOOPPPSSSS Sorry
Had replaced my driveshafts with cv units before the box was changed, but still have a slight clonk from the diff.
you will need a new gear change legend (available on the site)
working on a new gear change trim and will try to do another legend with the markings to suit.

Used the Stag two days running, waiting for tyres to revert to fully circular after winter lay up, but its only minor 'wobbliness'. First time with wind deflector, makes a hell of a difference.
Clutch a bit iffy, very low biting point but no slippage so hoping its hydraulic rather than new clutch, but if it is, a new clutch will be had.
My 67 Singer Chamois Coupe in for last 'compulsory' MOT before exemption, annoyingly delivery co must have tied it a bit too tightly to truck as both track rods bent, so being fixed - then its Prescott here we come!
