Now to find how the little blighter got in, I have the keys in the house.

Fitted Pertronix ignitor 2 and flamethrower coil. Changed the dissy over so took no2 plug out to find TDC and it look a bit lean so richened up a 1/4 turn on each carb. Now need to take all the plugs out and ease the gap open a touch to cater for the higher voltage spark. Oh and bought an efi kit as a summer projectPaul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

An older set up John, split manifolds, rover plenum, trumpets, loom, MAF, an old but unused MBDE ecu, trigger wheel, coil packs, pretty much everything I need for a basic set up. It’s one of the sets (I believe) designed by TH with some collaboration with the current club chairman. Should be fun trying to work it all out. But proper efi rather than some compromise kit.Originally posted by KOY 23What EFI kit did you buy?Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

That’s a fantastic find. Proper mapped multipoint EFI, without the restrictions of Stag manifold. I know little about MBE ECUs except they seem very professional and used in motorsports.
I’m not going to be so rude as to ask what you paid, but if it was less than £2k you have a bargain. It would cost a great deal more to have it made. if you have tubular exhaust manifolds you should be around 180bhp with more to come.

Hi John, Its for the blue car which does have tubulars already fitted. The ECU isn't the newest but they used to do the ECUs for TVR so some pedigree there; i just need to find an old laptop that can talk to it now....Originally posted by KOY 23 View PostThat’s a fantastic find. I don't mind cyclist actually, this one fits your description to a teeOriginally posted by Ritchie6 View PostJust been out for a couple of hours drive over the moors to Ripon and Harrogate making the most of the quiet roads before we get invaded by the tw@ts on bikes taking part in the Tour de Yorkshire race -roads closed all over the place, in some cases all day. Ridiculous!!

Now I wouldn't mind being stuck behind her for a few miles. Sadly most of them are lycra clad terrorists who take delight in riding 2 or 3 abreast blocking the road and making overtaking almost impossible.Originally posted by Kithmo View PostI don't mind cyclist actually, this one fits your description to a tee

All road users should be considerate but, in itself, riding 2 abreast is certainly not illegal and, in most circumstances, should make overtaking easier (2 bikes next to each other measures 1 bike length, 2 bikes in file measure at least 2 bikes length) and cars have no more right to the road than bikes in law. When I'm out ridng I try and make it easy for cars but car drivers often aren't perfect.Originally posted by Ritchie6 View Post

Most cyclists are also drivers and should do their best to make it easy for cars, but remember steam gives way to sail.....

Yeah, let's see what would happen if we wanted to close roads for a car race or classic car rally, that would happen wouldn't it. I'm in Leeds at the present and the hotel I'm in have the support group for this poxy race, rounds closed over the weeken and Friday night too. Hate cyclist. There, I've said it. No doubt I'll get bolloked now

I remember doing the cycling proficiency test at primary school and we were told we should ride in single file. It's made worse because we have a lot of narrow or single track roads in the Dales. The only people who like cyclists are other cyclistsOriginally posted by Goldstar View Post
