Beginning to forget what my Stag looks like. (Photo attached taken last year) It’s been away having major heart surgery for too long I also need the Tony Hart engine back as he has agreed to swop this for another which will hopefully be better. And this is perfect Stag weather to boot. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Took the Stag out for the first decent run since I had the underside done and new door panel fitted, around Los Cristianos and Las Americas.
Very warm today and got stuck in a traffic jam near town for a good 20 minutes, but the temperature gauge never moved from it's normal "E" position.
After escaping the Los Cristianos traffic jam took a roundabout back road home where I was able to put my foot down somewhat in order to test the car in all conditions.
No problems, and had the dashcam running whilst out, so putting together a short video which I will post a Link to when done.

Julian/jbuckl asked me in another thread to post some pictures from our anual Frankonia meeting which took place last weekend. This time not in Frankonia but in Baden Württemberg east of Stuttgart. We had 11 Stags, one Morgan and one Spitfire joining the meeting last Saturday/Sunday. Perfect condition with 28 C and sunshine. We stayed at the brewey Gasthaus Hirsch (=Stag). Very convenient, excellent beer, wine and food.

Attached the trailer to the Stag, again, and loaded up the lawn mower. Drove to Powderham Castle to prepare our pitch for the big show this weekend. 3 hours of grass cutting, covered in dust, grass and horse fly bites and the job done. Big pitch this year 28 yds x 18 yds. Room enough for the 30 Stags we have booked in, some from South Wales. If anyone reading this is coming, and wishes to thank me for the work, I’ll be close to the beer tent all weekend......

Went to the garage, drained the oil, changed the filter, during refilling with VR-1 the funnel tipped and spilled a pint of oil over the PAS belt, battery, front chassis rail and the floor.
it was downhill from then on really, I planned to do the cam bucket shims but found six that I haven’t got the correct shim for, so I closed up the garage, cancelled my trip to the Club Triumph meeting for the evening and spent ages trying to find a supplier who had everything in stock.Richard

Just got back from doing almost 200 miles round the Lake District including Windermere,Ambleside,Keswick,Ullswater and Kendal. We arrived up there at around 4.30 and it seemed that all the traffic was heading away so we had a clear run with no hold ups and best of all the car ran like a dream. No point in going any earlier as you find yourself running in convoy with all the visitors who are out for the day.
