Checked oil & fluids, and tightened fan belt and oiled parts to hopefully get rid of the PAS speak I experienced the 1st day back.
Noticed a few other minor items that needed fixing - so did those, and fitted my new gear selector knob I bought at Tatton Park.
Only thing I had a problem with, was that couldn't remember where I had put my socket set as hadn't used it in a while, but eventually located it under the bed.
PS. In the light of ones I saw on Stags at Tatton Park, I have just ordered a universal 3rd rear brake light to fit to mine.
Checked the tightness of the new anti roll bar bushes and links recently fitted. New seat belts just fitted too. Tried again to reduce the rattle from the passenger seat (OK when occupied.
Really missed mine while driving the roads of Naxos! Superb driving roads but the rented Nissan wasn’t up to the task.

This could be the start of a new thread.(What you didn't do with your Stag today and regretted it!)
The plus side of driving something second rate is it makes the Stag experience that bit more special.
.got under mine to see where its oil leak comes from...…..looks like the sump gasket .I might nip the bolts up a bit to see if that helps
on the plus side its really clean underneath
Well after discovering the battery was dead on Sunday morning ( and of course have already moved my start charger into storage due to a house move) l have fitted a new battery.
have gone for an Optima 4.2 RTS only a 50a battery but it gives 380cca (cold cranking amps) l don't thing the starter quite knew what hit it.
the reason for this is l plan to move the battery (possibly) into the hood storage space and the extra cable length requires more power on cranking.
the optima is also smaller all round on size.

Optima red tops are good batteries. We use 6 in series parallel to start our diesels UPS machines.
Nothing much to report, except that I noticed the control knob for my electric fan had gone missing, so attached a new one I made from my spares box.
Also noticed that the reversing sensors in the rear overriders were a little exposed, so made a protective cover for one of them from the cap off an Alovera bottle, and will do the other one when the misses has finished drinking the one in the fridge.
As already reported, have ordered a 3rd rear brake light, and will fit that when it arrives,
I love doing these little jobs on the Stag imbetween driving it.

Where have you ordered your 3rd rear brake light from?
And, where will you fit it?
I tried fitting one to the front edge of the boot lid some time ago, but it wasn't very successful.

Went on the Internet typing "Universal 3rd rear brake light" and it came up with a few, and I chose one from "ALiEXpress" which was quite cheap.
When it arrives I would like to fit it where the green Stag owner I saw at Tatton fitted his (see pic) if I can. 8.jpg

Isn't the idea of the third stop light that it's high up so can be seen by not just the car behind but cars behind that as well?
