Mine is still parked up at my Mother's where it has been since last October.

Went to the garage yesterday and notice a leak of (I assume) gearbox oil on the floor -argh!!!

Got to get my skates on as it becomes eligible for free VED from April.
Bereft of a Triumph of any description.

Update - yesterday pulled her out of the garage, checked all levels and replaced the wiper motor drive cable! New one was too long, so trimmed it and all working fine now. So I thought - start her up and maybe go for a run today (Sunday) and she kept cutting out and dying without choke, then with choke, running on 5/6 cylinders etc. Cut a long story short, fuel pump has gone lazy - so now got to check the pump and/ or fit the spare on, but that's been in the spare tyre well for the past 7 years. Hey ho, it's all part of Stag ownership and, as my wife says, tinkering with them to keep them going!

Good day today, managed to change the leaking tubular exhaust manifold gasket, while there, change the plugs and do a compression test.
            Purring nicely!
            Mike.

Bled the brakes (thanks to my son helping out), wheels on.

Charged up a very dead battery, replaced fuel filter, filled an empty header tank. Nipped up inlet manifold bolts. Some coolant running down V from pump housing, but not much.
Next day - refilled header tank (Now where is the coolant going ?????)

Started engine after doing the priming oil pump without ignition trick (thanks for that tip - worked great)
Started up and ran smoothly up to temp. No blasts of white smoke.....

Guess we'll see what happens to coolant levels once I can take car out on the road....

2nd update - disconnected fuel pump electrics and tried the spare, it WORKED - even after 7 years sat in the boot. So stripped the old pump out, fitted the replacement and all working fine. So, whilst on a roll, I stripped the original pump, cleaned the points and now that one works fine, so that's gone in the boot as a spare.

Finally took Stagatha for a blast, and the wife for Sunday lunch - all in all a great weekend, roll on summer.

Our Stag is now in the workshop whilst I determine how I am going to identify and sort the vibration issue. In the meantime our GT6 stepped into the breach and was in use on the work run today. It's roof was open on the way home this afternoon
