Lambrettlad, thank you for asking, and sorry for the slow response. All went well, new MOT with no advisories. Great service from Elmsleigh Engineering, as always. Fitted new clutch master today and dropped slave cylinder into bowl of old engine oil whilst doing a 1000 mile since engine rebuild service.. as you do. But now they are out gritting, so looks like Stag will be staying in garage for a while. Came across the cause of my rear suspension chirp whilst up on the ramps, I need to work out how to upload a photo so everyone can fall about laughing .. it's a classic.

Took poor old Stanley (the Stag) in for repair after a shelf in the garage in which he resides collapsed and spilled most of the contents over the bonnet and NS wing. Too depressed to take photos but I know the Alchemists at Meon Valley Classics will have him looking spic and span in time for my wedding later on this month.I love deadlines - I like the whooshing sound they make as they pass by!

Drove to Lubingham for the TSSC Christmas open day / party ,great coffee ,food, friendly people and a parts sale ,picked up a few bargains . Tree stags turned out two white and 1 magenta, by the time. I left .I left early (Mrs orders)
Took ages to defrost the stag, it drove beautify in glorious sunshine (that was low in the sky) ,just about missed a male partridge, who looked splendid in full plumage.Last edited by LAMBRETTLAD; 4 December 2016, 17:24.

My Stag has not been used for a few days, but at 8pm this evening the phone rang. Son had bought an oak sideboard locally off eBay and, despite checking the measurements, found it wouldn't fit in his Seat Ibiza. So out came the Stag, moved the lawn mower, three adult bikes, four kids bikes, two scooters and loads of other stuff to get the trailer out. Hitched it up to the Stag and out for a 20-mile round trip to pick up this sideboard and deliver it to Son's house, then home. Kids! Don't you love 'em......?I'm ready for a drink now.....

Went to Stag Classics and picked up the FF, after having a nice new hood fitted. Yes I know......the picture doesn't really focus on the hood but, what the hell, look at the engine bay.....not a RV8 in sight!
