No I didn't but it sounds a good idea, after I have finished reassembling door windows etc!

I think the boards from Robsport could do with being a bit thicker really, they could well sag in time.

The originals were ⅜" (9mm) and they sagged over time, mainly because they are hygroscopic. My new ones are 6mm marine ply so they are stronger and will not suffer from water ingress. The only problem I have is finding suitable plastic clips.

Went to the workshop today and swapped the Stag over for the GT6 . The pocket rocket is coming out to play now that the salt season is over. The hardtop is coming off the Stag next weekend.

I thought 'pocket rocket' meant something else!

Re-fitted my, newly foamed and re-covered seats, having cleaned, repainted and greased the runners and lift mechanisms.

God they seem hard, you currently sit on them, not in them but I'm sure they'll soon give. Roll on summer.......

Just finish spraying rear of car after this winter’s project to repair rear wings and inner wheel arches plus repairs to boot floor. Now to wait a week before compounding new paint to a nice shine.

took advantage of the first working day of summertime and took the stag for a swift 20 mile blast after 7.00pm.

hard top off in 2 weeks - can't wait

Well, Thursday actually. I had a set of 4 Vredestein 185HR14 tyres fitted to my Stag alloys. I wasn't planning on new tyres yet, but one of my rears had a nail in the sidewall, so was scrap and as the fronts were wearing down decided to fit all new. £120 a corner all-in and so far very pleased. My previous tyres were 185/8014T Nankang which have been fine, but the Vredesteins have less road noise. I've got a 200-mile round-trip to Newquay today to give them a proper test....

Drove the Stag from Bournemouth to Wareham via Beer Regis and Back. A good 40 miles round trip. Great to hear that V8 roar again. However management agreed that a 4 speed auto box would be quieter for our trip down to the Med and back. Just getting around the cost of the ZF box and all the sundries. That's a lot of mpg to save to justify the cost! Anyone out there ditching their ZF BOX and want to sell it for a very REASONABLE price?
Must refurbish the seats as well.
