Refitted the Blaupunkt NAV56E single DIN head unit.
Now have sat nav/CD/radio/USB/Bluetooth streaming/phone.
Doesn't look too out of place either
Cool, Reminds me I need to fit the new DAB/FM radio CD with bluetooth and dual cone speaker. Any ideas where best to site the hands-free microphone to minimise wind noise with the top down?
At a display at Wallington Sunday. Well over 100 cars ranging from 30s - 90s. Caught up with a few friends there and got better weather than forecast. Also got my first lesson in marshalling. Top day
Yesterday, a wonderful sunny day went over the newly opened A591 Dunmail Raise road between Grasmere & Keswick which was damaged in several places last December. A nice bit of work even though it took 5 months - a lot of the trees have been felled by the roadside and its now seems a lot more rugged and scenic if a bit busy though.

Ideally you need to get the mic as close to your mouth as possible. It is a job that I will be doing very soon having just fitted a DAB/FM radio. I need to sort out a mount for the phone as well. In my Focus, I use an active Brodit Holder, I will be investigating how I can use one for the Stag too.

Be interested how you get on, Pete. My phone is Samsung S6 and I use a Samsung holder with a windscreen sucker on my daily driver - just planning to "borrow" for the Stag. Mind, I do like the idea of having a holder with a built-in charger lead (just like the old Nokia days)
Well tonight I finished off the second infill on the windscreen. Previous repair had been fibreglass which was flexing and letting water in. This led to a fire some 18 months ago. This is the last stage of the repairs, wiring, dash now repaired.
I like the look of those as well - can you tell us where you got them please ?
Sorry for my tardy reply. They are out of an early 2000's Astra if recall correctly. Bought about a year ago now. Normally they are inserted into a slot in the dash. I just searched for cup holders in Ebay to find a suitable unit. Craig

Correction! They are from a Hyundai Accent 2005. Less than $20 aussie. Craig
