Electric I hope, the oscillating action really gets between the treads!Originally posted by KOY 23 View PostI've always used plastic funnels, trim them down and cut a slit in the side so they can be removed at the crucial moment. After use they hold the toothbrushes I use for cleaning the tyre treads.Mike.

Went to the Malvern auto jumble today ,Stag ran like a dream
the show was much better than recent ones with a good mixture of stalls, and no rain ! Plus got everything on my wish list .
Plus got many thumbs up and smiles on the very very slow narrow motor way road works sections ,which is boring at 12 miles long @50 MPH

Last week the etcher went on this weekend the primer. Did get a small run but it's on the primer so will come out. It's a long way from earlier in the year when fibreglass infill was found and I had to reconstruct the window lip.

Temporarily waived goodbye, as she left on the back of a trailer, off to Simon at RI for an engine rebuild. Suspected HGF and overdue timing chain replacement.
So a winter engine rebuild and ready for the Spring.

Hi Roger
A word of warning the same happened to me after our first road trip. The result was wet carpets which lead to an electrical short from the ignition and light switch. It was a very close call nearly lost the car loom.
I had the glass out twice and still didn't get a seal, only on further investigation did I find a bodge repair in the window lip. The flex in the plastic would allow the window to move. Over time any seal would give and this happened to me.
Also the dash under neath has a fantastic ledge that water can sit on. Mine rusted right through to the foam.

On Sunday I drove mine on a 100-mile round trip to Burnham-on-Sea. In a bit of a hurry coming home so caused a few surprised looks when the usual lane 3 vehicles pulled over when 4 dipped headlights appeared in their mirror, only to see a 43-year-old Triumph passing them.....

Well done Dave - I find 6 lights (including 2 main beam & 2 spots) appearing in a slow moving car's mirrors usually does the trick and they let you pass.Originally posted by DJT View PostOn Sunday I drove mine on a 100-mile round trip to Burnham-on-Sea.
