Fitting a tracker today. I am using an old android mobile phone. Have plenty of old ones in the house so only needed a cheap SIM and account. Just need to have a Gmail account and link the phone to it. The phone is being charged continuously. I can find the car (& phone) at any time by going onto Google and typing "Find My Phone". Be careful with old mobile phones, they tend to overheat in a car while charging on a hot day and shut down, especially if its hidden away with no ventilation, not to mention the possible fire risk to the battery (trust me I have seen many mobile phone batteries explode because they get too hot) ... your best option for a tracker is a cheap one from ebay .. its the right tool for the right job ..
