    Stag colours

Having read Ian's post about the restoration of the MM. How many colours has your car been in it's life.

Mine was built White in August 73, painted Tahiti Blue in 83 and then Sapphire Blue in 2003, I stuck with the Sapphire Blue when I restored it in 2009.

My first Stag (owned from 1989 to 2008) was White 19 throughout its life from 1971. My present Stag (owned since 2008) has been various shades of Carmine Red throughout its life since 1973.

                  Hi,
White from the factory, then blue, then white again. All before my ownership. Now blue metallic. I know it's non-standard but I like it.Stag Before.jpgStag After.jpg

Mine started out life as a white one, it was then painted BRG in 1997 and maybe around 2013 or so it was painted something the previous owner called Daytona Yellow, allegedly because green is an unlucky colour for a car here in Ireland... I suspect it was more to do with trying to hide rust and suchlike before selling it to me!

Mine started Java - then when it was painted, it was thought "why mess with perfection" so was painted Java again - either that or they couldn't be bothered to paint inside the boot lid and door shuts
