Re-wiring

Hi all

Just had my first day back in the garage this year, (work commitments) so have finished the led loom for the dash. Did notice however that a previous owner has cobbled what looks like a mk2 windscreen motor switch to the stearing colum mine being a mk1. I have two wires from the switch that don't go anywhere. Any idears what they are W/Y and Y/W.

There doesn't appear to be a wiring diagram with those colour cables listed around the wiper area. Could be the switch isn't from a Stag.

Could be for the delayed wipe which I don't think a Mk 1 has. They show a solid yellow and white / yellow on the drawing I have for a Mk2 going to the thermal delay unit.

I think that's the answer. The Mk1 doesn't have a delay or thermal delay unit (as far as I can tell) I'm going to install a time delay system from maplin so the wires may be useful.
