I seem to remember the nearest colour was Ford Dove Grey - but don't quote me.

I'm sure someone will be along in a minute

Loads of info in the search box.

Sorry Neil, did't read your last bit.

There has been a lot of coverage on this and as Russ says, Dove grey.

There is a massive PDF about the "Concourse d’Elegance Guidelines & Rules" and it states

        Mark One Air box:
70/71 cars have twin trumpet air intake later cars have thermostatic controlled air box with one large air intake. Colour pale green

        Mark Two:
Thermostatic controlled air box with one large air intake. Colour pale green

And now, some time for banter..... What do you call a man with a car on his head?

          Jack.

On page 55 of the Triumph Stag, Restorer's Guide. it states that the twin trumpet type fitted to early Stags was painted "matt aluminium" and the body of the "later (thermostatically-controlled) air cleaner is painted light grey". All the engine bay photographs show these colours.

I like the bit about tyres. It doesn't stat they all have to be the same.

There was a man who went to a fancy dress party. He was naked and so was his girlfriend who was getting a piggy back. When asked by the host what he come as he replied, a tortoise. And this is Michelle.
