Stef there are two white 19's, one is an earlier creamy colour, guessing used up to end of MK1 production(late 72) the later one is more white if that makes any sense.

My November 1972 built car is the older, creamy, white 19 - described in the Heritage certificate as 'New White'. Go figure.

I need to source paint as mine will need a respray soonish. I'd prefer cellulose, but I'm not confident of getting that anymore.

Thought there was more shades of primer than that!

you should be able to buy cellulose paint due to year of car.
i beleive that the (car) paint shop in Yeovil will mix it for me as mine is signal red but they require a pannel to match it with.
I also had some mixed in Cornwall and put into a rattle can.
              Cheers Glenn

                Stef,

There is a car body shop in Andover (on the industrial estate near McDonalds) that colour-matched my car (using the special camera thing) - it's also BL White (the brighter newer type). Be warned though, it is 2-pac so it needs all the safety kit but it is pretty good for touch-up work due to the nature of the paint. I didn't know you could brush paint 2-pax but I was pretty happy. From memory it was £20 for 0.5L but I could well be wrong.
