    Looks and sounds very nice.

Keep an eye on that oil pressure, I know the oil was cold but the engine wasn't revving hard and it was hitting 60 psi according to the gauge fitted. If the pump has been replaced with a new County pump the pressure relief spring may need changing to keep the oil pressure down to "normal" levels. Too high an oil pressure can put undue strain on the tensioners and also the whole chain/jackshaft/distributor gear drive train. Feel free to ignore this comment if your engine guy knows this already

        Roger,

Thanks for the advise. It will not be ignored. I shall talk it over with my engine guy for my peace of mind.

It takes forever to get my car back. But the good news is the engine is in. Everything is back together. Only some issues from the long time standing still after 2 years. I am gona fix them tomorrow. Then it is ready for the dutch MOT. And then it is time to enjoy my car again

Yes I have back my beast. Mot was ok. So I am back on the road since today. Still a small trouble left. The fuel pump is not working ok. I think there is rust from the fuel tank in it. But it is a small problem. The drive home was great after 2 years non driving. Now put on some miles fast to get the engine run in.

Don't go mad with revs, plenty of running in top gear with full throttle at up to 3500 revs to expand the piston rings and bed the cylinders in.
Check out BMEP* (Brake Mean Effective Pressure) to avoid glazed cylinder bores, beware using high levels of silicone in the oils, but plenty of ZDDP.
