    Interior LED bulbs.

I recently changed the interior light bulbs over to LED ones. Tonight l noticed that they dimly glow when l park the car up and leave it. Anything l did or are they somehow getting a small amount of current from the light circuit ?

    That's strange.
Take a bulb out when it should be off, and see if you register a (low) voltage across the terminals, I expect so.
You don't have a light dimming relay fitted somewhere maybe?

There must be some power still there to make them glow. Pull the relevant fuse just to see if they go off.

It might be to do with one of the materials making up the LED "glowing" after being charged.
I get the same effect at home and in a let property. Circuits installed by qualified electricians and checked over by a separate electricians.

Apart from the after hours glowing, do they light the interior much better than the original diet candles as specified by triumph? I've been considering fitting them to mine. Also are they the same type of bulbs that are used in the number plate lights. I've already changed all the other bulbs at the rear except the plate lights

I will check lights tomorrow if not to cold and wet. The LED lights l find are far to white and cold. Fine if you like that look.....I need to look for warmer yellowish colour.

This is a common problem with LED lights, some manufacturers make a "warm" version as well and this gives a yellowish light but still brighter than the originals.
As a rough guide, LED lights consume about 10% of the power compared to standard so definately worth it to lower the load on the wiring.
