has anyone used coverdale carpets? they have 3 types blenheim, wessex wool and kensington luxury wool. was just afer some feedback and maybe some pictures.
thanks Joel.
I knew you were going to ask that I think I bought the mid price level with a wool mix. The colour was beige but is really too light for practical use so I have to be careful with muddy shoes etc.

I have a set in my hall waiting to be opened. - Been hectic here with one thing and another and can't fit them yet anyway.
Once you get your samples if you can't make up your mind, let me know and I tell you what I think of the bigger pieces.
Bought Coverdale some 3-4 years ago, wool mix I thought and pleased with their service and response. When I came to fit them however the footwell mats did seem a little too large. They were not bound edges and they did have glued/attached felt underlay, so I had to undo the glue, reduce the under felt size and re-glue them.
Otherwise they fitted well on the sills, rear kick panel and transmission tunnel - and they are wearing well.
In any event they are much better than the originals, more of which went up the "Hoover" every time I cleaned them!
Here in the US there is a British television show on Velocity channel called "Wheeler Dealers" that airs. Earlier this week was an episode where they went to Coverdale Carpet, a geat little bespoke carpet maker, it looked like. When carpet is ordered, the carpet is then loomed specifically for that customer. Seeing that made me want to order from them; wow, I've never seen anything like that here. They showed the lady whose job it is to sew on the edging (bound edges) doing her job, too, in addition to the loom making the carpet for the order. I look forward to hearing the opinion of whichever of their carpets you purchase. If I buy them, there isn't much recourse if they aren't as they seem since I'm so far away, so any input about them is welcome.

We know and love Wheeler Dealers here too. What car were they covering here - I'd like to track it down, probably on You Tube.
I'd expect you do know the show, it is a fun show, good for those who enjoy playing with cars. I have to laugh a bit when they say things like "as the Americans would say" while working on a project. The car they were working on was a Rover P5. Since we don't have those here, I'm not exactly sure how it is written, but that was how they referred to it verbally.
Thanks for the posts, and I look forward to the photos, thank you.

Hope this helps.

The original footwell carpets were not bound.
I have the Aldridge wool carpets and they are the same, un-bound folded around the felt backing.
To be honest if they were bound, they would not look right.
