Headlamp cleaning

The inner (main beam) headlamps on my Stag seem to be very faded and dirty on the inside, but I understand they are sealed units and you cannot remove the glass from the casing for cleaning. However I'd be interested to know ifanyone has managed to do this and has any tips, as since mine areoriginal I am not keen to just trash them and replace them.

The headlights aren't sealed beam, at least the OEM ones aren't, but you're right, you can't get the glass off.

I would tryremoving the bulb and then try cleaning with a long cotton bud or something similar. It would be a bit tedious!

Good idea, maybe I'd have some success with a suitably sized bottle brush through the bulb aperture. Worth a go. Thanks.
