    Breakfast meet this coming Sunday?

Next Sunday (22/05/2016) is the spring Dearnfold Lake classic breakfast meeting starting from around 09.00.

Location is at Tilstock Road, Whitchurch, Shropshire SY13 3JQ.

    Anyone up for this?

Several of us went to the late summer meeting last year...

I might go along to that again, it was a good do last year.

I will have to give it a miss this time as it clashes with the NYTW up in Runswick Bay.

      Have fun

I managed to miss this event last year due to not keeping an eye on the forum so I'll definitely be making the effort this time.

Will be there, all being well. Went for the first time last summer (thanks Peter) and it was a really good do. I think the queue for the café gets quite long so a good idea is to take your own breakfast and brew, or have it at home first :-)

Look how the sun is glinting off that white Stag - it must be a nice example

With regard to breakfast, I'll aim to leave Woore at 09.00ish so will be one of the first in the queue for breakfast!

Yikes - just seen the weather for Sunday and it's not good!

This event is held on the field next to the lake and becomes a quagmire when wet....might need to change plans.

The weather gods were kind to us after all; it was a glorious morning with the rain holding off until lunchtime, by which time most cars had left. A tidy-looking Ferrari Dino was getting most of the attention but there was an interesting assortment of classics, modern and old, with a couple of demos in the lake by an Amphicar which I arrived too late for. There were a few Stags I didn't recognise until I bumped into Flying farmer. Red TR6s were everywhere...

All told, a great location and I would go again, with one eye on the weather. Thanks to Another Peter for flagging it.

Well done that man for going! I looked at the weather forecast, plus the fact that it had rained all day on the Saturday, and chickened out! I thought it would have been cancelled due to the field being sodden.

                  Any photos Neil?

                  Cheers

Yes, I'm afraid that being the typical "fair weather driver" I too chickened out when I saw the forecast. How can someone who looks as good as Carole get the forecast so wrong!

Anyway, we need to get another breakfast meeting arranged...
