Fuel filler cap assemble - help requested

Hi All

In anticipation of attending the NYTW tomorrow I took our Stag out to fill it up with fuel. Got to Morrisons and discovered I could not open the fuel cap! After driving home I managed to get it open.

However I have discovered that the clip has broken which retains the lock cylinder in the cap. Does anybody know where I could obtain one of those clips? It is a jalf circle shape with three motches in it.

The usual suppliers only seem to want to sell me a complete new assembly and they are all out of stock of those at the moment!

Thanks for replying. Yes it was the E Clip I was after. The problem was I needed one the same day as we were off to the NYTW in the Stag. Our local Locksmith came up trumps
