    Indicator electric flasher

I cant seem to find it on my stag - i thought i had found it under the steering column but that is a small square one and when I looked on the LD Parts website the wire colours don't match up.
I have taken the parcel shelf out but cant see the round flasher on the relay board.
Does anyone have any other ideas where it could be located as only my o/s indicator flashes albeit very slow and the n/s is on constant when and not flashing.
I have the new flasher unit but just cant find the old one to swap it over !!!

My next resort is to start taking the clocks out and looking behind there for it

If any one can post a picture of what i am looking for that will be great as well

    Thanks

    Darren

Mine is behind the instrument panel, clipped to a bracket up near the demister vent. A bit of a pig to get to....:-(

I have never seen one near the speaker hole. As Mole said, it is behind the instrument panel, but you shouldn't have to remove the panel to find it. It could be round or oblong, clipped in place, or or dangling on two green wires somewhere near the steering column.

Mines also just up in the dash from the floor. The original was clipped to the bottom of the dash and the new elec. one is fixed onto the bonnet release screws (LHD).

It was on my old Mk1 too, Pete. But they moved it on the early Mk2 (Mk 1.5). Mine was clipped to the plastic cover beneath the lower steering column.

Yes, that's what I understand, though never had to take the parcel shelf out yet. My flasher was hanging on wires out of the loom around the bottom of the plastic steering column covers - since bolted to this to improve chances of hearing it (marginal improvement).
