There's a chap on eBay called "motor dad" offering to recondition brake master cylinders for £40 plus postage. Has anyone used his service? I believe that modern "new" stock isn't always that good so I'm keen to stick with original parts.

I changed the seals in the master cylinder last week. Technically was not difficult. Practically it was a right fiddle. Had to buy a new pair of circlip pliers, then attack them with a grindstone to be able to get them to fit the available space to reach the second circlip, about an inch down the bore of the cylinder.
