    Rear hub seal

It is mot time again and I was aware the near side rear brake wasn't as good as it should be, i.e. wouldn't lock up on either foot brake or handbrake. So removed drum to be met with a lot of what looked like oil contamination. Expected to find the brake cylinder seals leaking, but they were ok. The culprit is grease from the hub bearing.

Question is if I remove the flange/hub to fit a new seal will I have to use a new collapsible spacer, I suspect I will, but wondered if anyone knows different or has advise on best/easiest approach.

    Hi Roger

That is not a task I have had to undertake. Please keep us informed of how you get on.
