Well, we had our best tunes. It was revealing that there was so much from the 70's. So how about movies?

Here goes:

Oh Brother where art thou? (Cohens at their very best, with super old timey music)

Mars Attacks! (Jack Nicholson - "Can't we just all get along?" just before he gets shafted - hilarious and yet soooo true of W's America, now drawing to a close)

Fargo - black comedy at its darkest - especially the scene where an inept murderer is show feeding victims legs into the wood chipper

• Blues Brothers - John Belushi & Dan Aykroyd

(Also enjoyed watching "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World" with lots of well known stars in it as does "Cannonball Run")

No 1 -OH BROTHER WHERE ART THOU, for all the same reasons.

No 2 - CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, total escapism, believable effects and a good yarn.

No 3 - THE LIFE OF BRIAN, " 'es not the messiah, 'es a very noughty boy " this one I have to watch at least once a year.

And a 4th, "DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER" cos there's a Stag in it.

Difficult choice, keeping it down to three.
