Choke cable

Hi folks i have just purchased a new choke cable can you tell me how i fit the switch on to it as the knob does not appear to come off , so it looks as if i need to push it through from the front .

From my bad memory, the switch locates in a couple of holes in the rod part of the cable and to brace it it is a little screw which I think I used a pair of thin nosed pliers to do up when my choke knob was already glued on.
As your probaly aware once fitted when needed to be used always put your foot on the throttle pedal to make it easier especially when it comes to repro ones.

Switch to choke cable I used a jubile clip works fine

Some people buy a new knob, one with the grub screw and break the glued one off.

thanks guys the knob is stuck on no grub screw , i have fitted cable minus the switch for now !! will put switch on sometime . cheers
