Lower springs

Can anyone out there help me in my moment of mind numbness... I'm looking at lowering the front end of my Stag by 1" by fitting reduced height springs, as I type I'm starting to realise how silly a question this is, but can I retain the original shocks, or do I have to fit reduced height shocks as well? Are there any other items that would need replacing at the same time?

Same shocks. might be a good idea to replace the spring insulators as well at the same time I used pollybush

Suggest you get the tracking checked after - disturbing stuff usually alters the front wheel alignment

Thanks for the advice folks, polybush insulators and tracking are now on my list!!

I'm not making a dragster, and she's an original TV8 engine dream

She looks too high on the front arches, hence lowering the front, I have thought about dropping the rear as well but lowering by the same amount wouldn't solve the front arch problem, and I don't want to drop the front by 2 inches to allow the rear to go down by 1 inch (1 and 2 inch drops are all I've found online so I'd welcome any other suggestions on how to do this)
