Sorry, but I much prefer "before" - nothing to do with originallity but IMHO look far more the business! (and would look even beter with higher profile tyres)

We are both good thanks and trust you and Mrs M are too. Just had a week in Menorca but back with a bang on Tuesday to P****ng rain and wind. Me sunshine tan has all but washed off. Been waiting for a new soft top and frame for some months now, perhaps I will have it for next year. Catch up with you soon I hope.

Are you going to sell the old wheels?
Cheers

But as said before each to his own. Just trust the originals find their way to a needy Stag.

Original wheels, 14 inch, 40 plus years old, out of true, corroded beads so tyres deflate. I've had my black minilite rip offs for 6 years now, would never go back to originals. But as you say H, to each his own. I really think the Minilite copies suit the stag, what ever colour they maybe

Sorry to carry this on but really dont get it - whats special about minilites? As said to me they look like standard issue on modern Golfs etc. or any other alloy set one can pick up from Halfords or multitudinous other alloy wheel outlets.
My "modern" Jag has 24 spoke alloys that when clean look superb but they would not look right on a Stag? OK if originals are distorted/corroded but AFAIK then you can get them fixed.
Even wires to me would look somewhat out of place but even then better than miniltes!
