Hood stowage cover won't lock down?

Had a great day at Bromley yesterday also. Set off in the morning with the hood cover firmly shut. Stayed down all day but when arrived back home o/s had popped up. I tried to close if back again but to no avail. I pulled the release lever to fully open to investigate now neither side will lock down....... Any ideas?

Hi Ian.
Is the release lever going right back? I had some broken strands in one of the cables which prevented full return of lever giving same symptoms.

Check that your hood assembly is going right down and is not preventing the stowage cover from closing properly.
If not, check the cables as previously suggested, failing that the catches on both sides are adjustable.
