    Stag Steering rack problems.

Hi I am looking for any help or advice if someone could please help, we have a Stag which has had a corvette engine fitted, by a chap whom has since passed away, we are trying to find out if there are any other Stags in the UK, which have had this type of engine conversion carried out, we might be wrong, be we have been told a long time ago, there where two stags in the uk with this engine ? we are stuck, as we cannot mount the steering rack correctly as the engine causes numerous problems with the mounts for the rack, would anyone have any photos of the underside of a stag, around the rack area, any help would be gratefully accepted and thank you so much for your time.

Hopefully you will get some help from members of this Forum.
Just a thought, but this conversion is more likely to have been carried out in USA.
Have you tried contacting Triumph Stag Club USA, Founder/Chairman is Michael Coffey. email stagclub@epix.net

            Daz,

I live in Norden, not to far away from you, if it would help I could run my car (TV8 engine) over for you to look at if that might help you.
