Thought i'd check the standard of my prep as its been 25 odd years since I painted a car, feels good to be finally shooting some primer on

shot some primer to check where I had replaced the rear arch too, I have a low spot so I avoided spraying that until its been skimmed in but the arch prep looks pretty good to me and it is still to be dry flatted (high build primer).

Thanks Andrew. I can't believe it's been 6 years since I started welding it! But I don't get a lot of time and my garage you have seen and it isn't big enough to work in. So progress was always going to be slow. Given a good summer getting it painted this year should be possible.

Boot lid was brand new in 1989 and its been mostly garaged since then. I'll be really happy when itrs finished. Haven't driven it since 2001!

                      Good luck,
Garage is only just wide enough for me to get out of the Stag on the driver's side when it's really close to the wall on the passenger side. No room to spray in there. I have bought 2 3m x 4 m gazebos with sides. A large box fan which will be blowing in through a cooker hood filter and I'll cut a section out of the opposite end fit a an activated charcoal cooker hood filter in the hole. That will be my spray booth

Love the transportable spray booth. Maybe you could hire it out when you've finished.
