    Keeping it in the family!

After much deliberation over the past few months I got the car out of the garage today and after making a list if things that needed doing ive decided that a full stripdown and renovation is probably the best way forward,
My car is a 1972 mk 1 auto in white which was bought by my father in 1990 and underwent some restoration then being completed in 1994, I was handed the keys in 2005 but starting my own family has meant that ive neglected the poor old thing and its been sat in the garage for the past 5 years and not moved

The list if jobs to do is endless but fortunately the bodywork has held up reasonably well but will need sone repair sections, it doesnt look too bad from far away but close up theres a few bubbles appearing and I cant be having that!

Im hoping the years of tinkering I did as a kid with it will hold me in good stead but expect to see some cries for help as we go along, heres some photos

Nice to see a 1972 car with no cheat line, body colour sills and rostyle wheel trims! Mine still has the underseal sills but I did peel the cheat line off.
